2023-2024 PTSA Initiatives at F.E. Bellows

Each year, the PTSA works to raise money to benefit ALL Rye Neck students. Here's what we've been up to at FEB!

Community Building Events

The Rye Neck PTSA prides itself on bringing our community together. At FEB, we kick the school year off with our annual Chalk the Walk and keep the momentum going with events such as Family Activity Nights, Walk to School Week (timed with Earth Day), and free speakers for parents. We also partner with the Rye Neck International Committee to showcase the amazing cultural diversity in our district.

Engaging Assemblies & Speakers

Each year, the PTSA funds enrichment opportunities at F.E. Bellows. This year, we've funded the below assemblies:

Hands-On Enrichment Activities

In addition to our in-school STEAM (Science Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) Enrichment, we host After School Clubs, Grade-specific Playdates and organized events such as:

Scholastic Book Fairs
Walk to School Week
Family Kickball Nights
Rye Y Recess Program

Community-Based Donations and Drives

While all of the funds the PTSA raise go directly back to our students, we also strive to teach children about the importance of giving back. In 2023-24 we hosted:

A Winter Coat Drive benefiting The Sharing Shelf
Halloween Candy Drive in partnership with Rye Smiles Pediatric Dentistry
A Children's Book Drive to benefit Darien Book Aid
A Sneaker Donation
A Crayon Drive

Parent Volunteer Opportunities

The PTSA partners with the school administration to recruit Class Parents and organize in-class celebrations throughout the year.

Parent Social Events

We host a series of annual social events to fundraise, as well as bring Rye Neck parents and families together. This school year, we hosted:

Back to School Social on Greenhaven Beach
Casino Night
Winter Formal Fundraiser & Social
